Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent check, security deposit, and any fees from the application process should be paid at the lease signing.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We will provide all of your move-in information when you sign your lease.

Utilities

Utility accounts for your rental property should be put in your name immediately upon taking occupancy. Don't neglect this step or you may lose your utilities and be responsible for all fees associated with restoring access.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Looking to leave your property? Please provide our team with written notice of your intent to vacate the rental home.

Property Condition

Your lease stipulates that you must return the home to us in its original condition. Make sure you do the following:

  • Rental Cleaning: Your property should be carefully cleaned as you prepare to leave, with all belongings removed from the home.
  • Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you have outdoor space where you generally take care of maintenance chores, please do these once more before vacating.
  • Repairs: If any cosmetic damage occurred in your home during your stay, take the steps to resolve these issues. This includes patching nail and screw holes, repainting where necessary, and replacing broken glass or lightbulbs.

Security Deposit

The security deposit you paid at the outset of your lease will be used to cover any damage identified after your departure. If we do need to make repairs, we will create an itemized statement to list the expenses.
